Lection is devoted to analysis of the influence of global threats on the sustainable development on the qualitative level with application of Bayesian Belief Networks, founded on the theory of causality, taking into account both linear and nonlinear dependences.
Application of Baesian Belief Networks, which are a graphical model of probabilistic interrelations on the set of variables, jointly with the apparatus of mathematic statistics gives the range of advantages, as it permits to reveal cause-and-effect relations between different variables, and consequently to facilitate the understanding of such complex phenomena and processes as sustainable development.
In addition Baesian Belief Networks, having both cause-and-effect and probabilistic semantics, are convenient means of joint expert knowledge presentation (often permitting to link cause-and-effect dependences) and statistical data, got in an instrumental way(measurement, observation, calculation).
