The main goal for this course is introduction to neurobiology and mathematical methods used for modeling in this research area. The course is a first and important key for understanding the other lectures in neuromodeling substream and gives basic knowledge on brain cells (neurons) and contacts between them (synapses), biophysical and biochemical aspects of neuronal models as well as review special software. The audience is not required to have deep and specialized knowledge on nerve tissue. Therefore the course produces all required knowledge to understand the topic. The only thing you have to know is we have brain and we use it for thinking.
