At the end of the course students should be able to prepare a marketing plan for products and /or services in electronics/ITC business. This marketing plan will be prepared with the objective to be part of a business plan. The lectures within the course will include theories and methods for analyzing the market situation, national and international; tools for development of marketing strategies. The lectures will give several cases from product development and marketing such as:
- NMT (Nordic mobile telephone system)
- Infrared temperature measurement and infrared cameras,
- Pacemaker for heart stimulus,
- CEE, electric connections, Cewe part of ABB
- Tuneable lacer transmitters (Altitune AB)
- Electric power generation plant (IMFA)
- Spotify a Swedish music streaming service on internet,
- Skype, telephone over the internet
- HVDC Transmission system.
