  1. International marketing in the global economy and the global market environment and trends in the electronic and ITC industries.
  2. Identifying international marketing.
  3. Preparing of a marketing plan.

At the end of the course students should be able to prepare a marketing plan for products and /or services in electronics/ITC business. This marketing plan will be prepared with the objective to be part of a business plan. The lectures within the course will include theories and methods for analyzing the market situation, national and international; tools for development of marketing strategies. The lectures will give several cases from product development and marketing such as:

  • NMT (Nordic mobile telephone system)
  • Infrared temperature measurement and infrared cameras,
  • Pacemaker for heart stimulus,
  • CEE, electric connections, Cewe part of ABB
  • Tuneable lacer transmitters (Altitune AB)
  • Electric power generation plant (IMFA)
  • Spotify a Swedish music streaming service on internet,
  • Skype, telephone over the internet
  • HVDC Transmission system.
