Applications of biosignal analysis for human state assessment in various conditions
Course duration: 2 h
Applications of various mathematical methods for analysis of signals recorded from human body are rapidly growing nowadays. Availability of linear, nonlinear, entropy, chaotic and other parameters of biosignals allow to extract and analyze information about the underlying physiological processes. In the lecture an overview of digital signal processing techniques in the analysis of brain electrical activity, heart rate and respiration will be described. Сonsidered applications are epileptic patterns detection, heart rate analysis, mechanical lung ventilation control, fetal ECG extraction, interhemispheric symmetry in EEG etc.
