Cryptography for Cloud Security
Course duration: 4 h
These lectures present modern and future approaches of using cryptology for secure data analysis. Cryptographic tools are widely used in modern information systems. They mostly serve for storing and transmitting sensitive data. Some cryptosystems open completely new possibilities. They allow for providing substantial operations over encrypted information without disclosing any piece of it. An overview of state-of-the-art cryptography for Cloud-related security (Big Data, Secure Multiparty Computations etc.) will be presented. Secure function evaluation as a critical part of cloud computing technology and its practical applications will be discussed. The topic include an introduction to Homomorphic Cryptography, Functional Encryption and Searchable Encryption.
