Scholarships from our partners

DAAD scholarships for German students

AACIMP Summer School 2015 is supported by DAAD Go East foundation. There is a limited number of scholarships available for German students. Students from Germany can apply for a scholarship to the summer school program «GoEast» in the DAAD. The scholarship consists of the total amount that covers the cost of stay, travel expenses and the cost of the course.

The two-track application process provides that interested parties are to apply simultaneously to the Summer School for admission and to the DAAD for a scholarship. The local organizers also determine the admission requirements.

To apply for a DAAD scholarship you have to:

  • fill in the Summer School application form and choose the option *I want to apply for DAAD scholarship for German students.
  • apply for this scholarship at the DAAD webpage separately by submitting all required documents.

The scholarship applicants will be informed about the results by DAAD and the Summer School.

DAAD-Stipendien für deutsche Studierende

Deutsche Studierende können sich im Rahmen des Go East- Sommerschulprogramms beim Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst (DAAD) um ein Stipendium bewerben. Das Stipendium setzt sich zusammen aus Lebenshaltungskosten, Reisekostenzuschuss und Kursgebühren. Weitere Informationen dazu finden Sie unter: goeast.daad.de.

Das zweigleisige Bewerbungsverfahren sieht vor, dass Interessenten sich bei der Sommerschule um eine Zulassung und beim DAAD um ein Stipendium bewerben. Die Organisatoren vor Ort legen auch die Zulassungsvoraussetzungen fest.

Personal grant of Prof. Oleksandr Romanko

AACIMP Summer School lecturer, Prof. Oleksandr Romanko has expanded his support to the project and is willing to promote young scientists that share his roots and come from Sumy region, Ukraine or are aquiring higher education in university located in Sumy or Sumy region. Alongside his numerous volunteering projects, Prof. Romanko has kindly offered a funding opportunity by providing 2 personal grants for participation in the 10th Summer School AACIMP.

Eligibility

To apply for a personal grant of Prof. Oleksandr Romanko you should be:

  • currently studying at any university in Sumy or Sumy region;
  • from Sumy or Sumy region currently studying at any Ukrainian university.

This grant is not payable in cash and covers only the registration fee. It does not cover transportation, accommodation or meals expenses.

Candidates, who meet elegibility criteria, should fill in the application form, pick option “I want to apply for personal grant of Prof. Oleksandr Romanko” in order to be considered as the grant applicant. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by Prof. Oleksandr Romanko before the final decision is made.

Additional grants and scholarships

Tübitak (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) supports students and young researchers from Turkey, see more at the website.

Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, students from Azerbaijan can apply for category "D" grants: "Participation grants for the international events", website. There is no application deadline, but potential recipients should apply at least 30 days prior the event.
