Duration: 12-14 h

Today machine learning (ML) is a vast field encompassing very powerful methods, deep mathematical theories and ingenious algorithms with numerious applications. But one needs a solid foundations to step into this exciting ever growing field. This course is aimed to provide such ground. We will concentrate on the fundamental concepts of ML and apply them to real world examples.

Curriculum Vitae: I came to Computer Science with natural science background. I got my Master degree in theoretical physics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2004. Then I continued my research in physics in Max Planck Institute of Complex System in Dresden. Currently I am working as a research engineer in Samsung Research Institute in Kiev.
