AACIMP at social media

Sustainable development is the modern concept of the development of the world, according to which exploitation of natural resources, directing of investments, the orientation of scientific and technological development, personal development and institutional changes are consistent with each other and increase the potential for fulfilling of needs and aspirations of people.

The basis of the concept is a systematic correlation and balance of three components: economic, environmental and social. In particular, the correlation of social and environmental components results in the need to maintain identical rights of current and future generations to use natural resources. The interaction of economic and environmental components requires cost assessment of technological impacts on the environment. Finally, the correlation of social and economic components is required to achieve fairness in the distribution of wealth among people and providing target assistance to the poor.

This course of Summer School AACIMP is devoted to social and economic component of sustainable development: optimal use of limited natural resources and use of energy-, nature- and materials conservation technologies, preservation of capital and aggregate gross income - on the one hand, the problems of equitable distribution of benefits, development of new generation of institutions of society, preservation of cultural capital and reducing the number of conflicts in society - on the other.
