In addition to the educational program, an extensive cultural one is offered to the participants. It includes demonstration of movies, visiting theatres and museums, as well as excursions to the most picturesque and mysterious sites of Kiev, such as Andriivsky Slope, Vladimir’s Hill, Kiev-Pechersky Lavra (Kiev Cave Monastery), St. Andrew’s and Sofia’s Cathedrals, Mariinsky Palace. In the range of the Summer School the participants will be able to visit Water-Informational Center, Bulgakov museum, museum “Chornobyl”. In order to familiarize the participants with cultures and traditions of other nations, a number of thematic evening-parties, dedicated to various world’s cultures, are planned. While visiting beaches and the quay of Kiev, the participants will definitely be delighted with the beautiful nature of our capital. To complete the impression, a boat trip along the Dnieper River is planned. |
