Terms of registration

For the registration you need to:

  • fill in the application form on this site;
  • have the automatic e-mail notification that your application is received;
  • receive an e-mail confirmation from Organizing Committee on your successful registration;
  • pay registration fee and inform Organizing Committee about it;
  • get registered in the office of Organizing Committee in August 2

Please, pay attention that a registration fee depends on the period you apply for participation and on the actual date of payment.

Early registration - before May 1, 2012
Late registration - before June 1, 2012

Thus, for participation on the basis of early registration fee you should fill in the application form no later than May 1 and pay the fee no later than May 14.

For participation on the basis of late registration fee you should fill in the application form no later than June 1 and pay the fee no later than June 14.

Organizing Committee will review your completed application form and you will receive a letter of notification that your application is accepted (rejected) within the month from the date of submitting the application form, but no later than May 5 for early registration and June 5 for late registration.

Having received the confirmation of participation, you should pay the registration fee (early or late, depending on the date of registration and payment). More information on ways of payment, you may find here.

Be sure to notify Organizing Committee via e-mail if you pay the registration fee by bank transfer.

Registration and housing of participants are going to take place on August 2, 2012.

To maximize your awareness we advise you to visit our site periodically, so you will always keep track of the latest information updates about the courses. If the course which you have chosen is canceled, we advise you to choose another one, or to inform us about your non-participation.

Application form

Before you fill in the application form:

  • Please, prepare a recommendation letter from your academic advisor/teacher/manager.
    Recommendation letter is optional, but desirable.
  • pay special attention to the information concerning accommodation and meals in the Summer School for stating the most suitable options in the application form.
  • read attentively the information on the Summer School courses and choose the stream you would like to attend.  Pay attention to the rules of participation in the Summer School.
  • get acquainted with the rules of participation and information about the registration fee provided on this site.

Be sure to fill in all the required sections of the application form. Ensure that your e-mail address is on the form before submitting it.

Please, indicate the reliable and complete information in the application. The decision of your registration as a participant will be taken on the basis of the data that you have indicated in it.

Right after the submission you will be sent an automatic e-mail notification that your application is received.

If you are having some financial problems and you cannot pay the full fee but you would like to attend our courses, contract the Organizing Committee via This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Having explained the reasons you may request for reduced fee. On the decision of the Organizing Committee you can be granted the reduced fee on the basis of discount (see Discount system).

Registration fee includes:

  • Educational program;
  • Social program;
  • Project materials;
  • Summer School souvenirs.
Registration fee doesn't include payment for meals and accommodation. But they can be offered to you in case you will be ready to pay additional fees.

Additional fees

Apart from the registration fee you can pay addition (optional) fees – meals and accommodation. But Organizing Committee offers you some variants for additional fee.

Payment

Payment must be made no later than May 14 (early fee) or June 14 (late fee).

By cash

Fees may be paid in cash in the office of the Organizing Committee upon the receiving confirmation letter of your participation in the Summer School.

Bank transfer

Fees can be paid by bank transfer. Please, pay attention that prepaid should be only the registration fee.

Accommodation and meals are paid in cash upon your arrival to Kiev.

Discount system

The possibility of fee reducing (discount) at the rate of 50% from the registration fee can be provided for Summer School participants.

The Organizing Committee makes the decision about providing the reduced fee based on the information about the scientific activity, motivation and recommendation letter of a participant which is to be stated in the application form.

The Organizing Committee may also inquire for the documents that prove the achievements stated in the application (copies of publications in the books of theses, articles, participation certificates in the educational and scientific activities).

The discount is applied only to the registration fee. Meals and accommodation fees are to be paid on regular basis.

You will receive a letter with notification about acception/rejection of a discount request within 1 week from the date of deadline.
